Evaluation

For this project I was really focused and did my work. I really enjoyed suing digital image as a toolkit for my samples. I wish I would have been allowed to do the print workshop, so I would have been able to apply some my sketches drawings into print.  I finished the entirety of my sketchbook for which I am proud of. I used the  digital image workshop to my advantage and used the large format printers to see my drawings in large scale. Overall I am very happy with the work I have done but I wish I would have had the opportunity to use other methods/workshops in my project.

This a drawing that I layered on Photoshop. I like the way I used pencil and watercolour.

Drawing made using Photoshop brushes, I made the brushes using my a drawing from my sketchbook.

More Photoshop techniques using some of my original photography then applied Photoshop to manipulate and layer imagery.

I  took this image  sung a Holga lens and flash and the are the effects.

To get me started with my project I went around Manchester taking pictures of trees, I focused mainly on the skeletal qualities of trees and tried to capture them ant night to see whether the dark background would give them a bit of definition.

I like this work because of its high contrast and saturated colours using gel mediums to give the paintings very vivid colours, I am going to use this inspiration mainly for my digital image workshop.
