Since starting university I realised using domestic knitting machines and I realised its utterly different from hand knitting and it is very labour intensive but fruitful after a lot of practice.

One of my favourite illustrations I used water to mark the skin and then oil pastels to outline the apron, i love it works with illustration
A knitted sample of rthe the illustrated jumper.
Drew the line using a graphite rthis was one was a quick whip up sketch.
More entries from my sketchbook I am very happy with theses drawing and I would like to continue on doing some more.
Another of my favourites, I think I am getting the hang f this drawing thing, here I was just experimenting using coulor and pencil, getting more confident to use pencil
I drew the out outline using graphite because I wanted that shiny texture but when I looked at it again, it did not look nice so I compromised and used watercolour one of my favourite medium I really like this drawing because of the line and plus I had fun drawing it.
For my 1m X 1m drawing I decided to do a lot of drawings mainly of girls. For my deconstruction drawing task I decided to choose the words photocopy and multiply. I started of by photocopying the drawings and then ripping them up, even the original drawings.
This is what I started of with a couple of photocopies and the originals
I then started a process of almost decompsing the drawings and making marks to an A1 SHEET and sticking the images to the paper and ripping them up.
This is what I had after 2 hours of work, I was to not happy with it, so I decided to do further deconstruction by using a rotary cutter and ruler to get straight edges.
This is the finished DECONSTRUCTED DRAWING.
I particularly enjoyed this project as it gave me a new way of working which I have carried out so far in my my other drawings.
Visuals
I have plenty of drawings in my sketchbook but I do need to move out of it and concentrate on larger scale drawings, most of my drawings are in A4. I also got comment that people do not understand what my project was about in relation to the Sleuth, Spies and Lies project. I need more annotations in my sketchbook to help people understand my project. This was one of my first successful sketchbook drawings and it has given direction.
Contextual
I have been photographing all the people that I have used in my project and most of my artist research is on this blog.
Content
One of my best point from, the sketchbook review is that I am very good at drawing and I am good at using colour and texture. Some people note that I need quick drawings which I am currently working on at the moment. I also learnt that my drawings are better when they are not too contained and when I play with a lot of colour and use mixed media.
